Camping Information

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS

4-wheelers, dirt-bikes, golf carts and other similar vehicles are prohibited. You will not be permitted to enter the grounds with any non-licensed motorized vehicle.

Campground Information:

YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO RESERVE A CAMPSITE

Jam in the Valley has approximately 1,200 on-site "primitive" camping spaces. Most of the campground areas are "open-spaced" with rolling fields and limited gravel road access. There are no electrical or water connections or dump stations available. Each site is roughly measured out to be 16ft x 45ft (720sq. feet) or roughly equal to 720sq feet.

Timbuktu and Back 40 camping sites will be enlarged to roughly 20ft x 50ft to alleiviate the extreme congestion and to make it safer for all Jam in the Valley patrons.

Only one vehicle per campsite is allowed to park at campsites. All other vehicles planning on staying overnight/for the weekend must park in the Campground Visitor's Parking Lot. A nominal fee will be charged. Vehicles parked overnight in the Concert Parking Lot will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense and the campsite owner will be charged an additional $50 to their credit card.

All persons camping in or utilizing Jam in the Valley campground
facilities do so at their own risk.
EVERYONE CAMPING AT JAM IN THE VALLEY MUST HAVE A VALID JiTV WRISTBAND APPLIED TO THEIR WRIST. NO EXCEPTIONS!

No liability is assumed by owners, managers, promoters, sponsors or others. Prior to your arrival, please read the following rules and regulations. They are for your protection and to ensure that your camping experience is enjoyable.

If you have any questions regarding any of the following operating times, procedures or rules, please call us toll free at (877) 744-5488 or locally at (585) 535-7447. You may also email any questions you may have by using the "Contact Us" link on the top bar or at the bottom of this page.

Large Group Camping Information:

Large group camping is a convenience that Jam in the Valley provides. If you purchase 6 or more sites (with required amount of tickets) you will receive a nominal discount per campsite.

Large group camping ensures that your group will be able to camp on consecutive sites. Large group campers will be allowed to come in a few days earlier than the general camping public to start set up. We allow this so that we can ease the process of getting 1,200 campsites loaded as the concert draws near.

Whoever's name is on the purchase of large group camping will be the "captain" of your group. Jam in the Valley staff will contact you and work on your arrangements.

To ensure that you keep your large group sites from year to year, please join the Large Group License Program. You will be contacted via mail with information about licensing your large group after camping as a large group for one year.

For safety reasons and to reduce traffic congestion on Route 20A, please enter the campground staging area with your campers. Once in the staging area, Jam in the Valley staff members will register, assist and direct you to your campsites.

Upon Your Arrival:

You will receive one camping permit for each campsite purchased. This permit must be displayed on the camping unit at all times.

  • Arrive only in the vehicle(s) which require Camping Permit tags.
  • Any camping unit pulling a trailer (i.e. RV pulling a camper) will require 2 camping permits.
  • Cargo, flatbed and utility trailers will not be permitted, unless pulled by a motorized passenger vehicle.
  • Only one motorized vehicle (commuting/tow vehicle) is permitted for each space.

Campers are parked in the order they arrive.
If you want to camp with friends, you must arrive together.

To keep your reserved space, camping units which leave the site must make arrangements with Jam in the Valley campground management prior to leaving. Failure to do so could result in that camping space being lost to another camper.

Jam in the Valley reserves the right to reuse any space left unattended overnight without a permitted camper. Signs or staking of areas is not acceptable. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Campers losing their space forfeit all camping privileges without refund. Any person possessing counterfeit camping permits or return passes will be ejected without refund and may be subject to prosecution.

Two small or medium size tents or one large tent will be permitted per campsite. For sites with two small/medium tents, one camping tag will be sufficient provided it is visible from the access road. Only one car per site.

Any vehicle not authorized to be on a campsite will be towed at the owner's expense and the campsite owner will be charged an additional $50 to their credit card.
